Sherman Ware, CEO and Founder, served 15 years in the U.S. Army. In 1991, while stationed in Nurnberg Germany, Sherman received the Army Commendation Medal for administering CRP to a 3-year old child and saving his life. This was a life-changing event, that resulted in Sherman making a radical career change to practice emergency medicine, initially for the U.S. military, later as a civilian. For 3 years he served as a Master Paramedic serving the citizens of Dekalb County Georgia 911 system.
